Validyne Engineering Achieves ITAR Registration
We’re now officially registered under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations — expanding our ability to serve the defense and aerospace programs that depend on precision instrumentation.
Validyne Engineering has completed registration under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), administered by the U.S. Department of State Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC). For a company that has spent more than 50 years building sensors for demanding environments, this registration is a natural next step — and a formal signal to defense contractors, aerospace OEMs, and system integrators that Validyne is ready to meet the requirements of controlled programs.
What Is ITAR?
ITAR is a set of U.S. federal regulations governing the export and import of defense-related articles, technical data, and services. Administered by the Department of State, ITAR exists to ensure that sensitive defense technologies remain under appropriate U.S. government oversight.
For suppliers and manufacturers, ITAR registration isn’t just a formality — it’s a prerequisite for participating in many defense and aerospace programs, and a demonstration that a company operates within a rigorous compliance framework.
What This Means for Our Customers
Validyne’s ITAR registration means we can now formally supply pressure transducers, sensors, machined components, and related instrumentation to programs that require ITAR-compliant vendors. In practical terms:
- Validyne is a qualified vendor for ITAR-controlled programs and contracts.
- Your procurement team can source our products knowing our operations meet U.S. government compliance standards.
- Our export controls and supply chain documentation align with the requirements of defense and government contracting.
Our Commitment to This Space
Precision, reliability, and durability have always been the foundation of what we build. Our variable reluctance pressure sensors are already deployed across research, test and evaluation, and aerospace applications where measurement error isn’t an option.
ITAR registration reflects our investment in the operational infrastructure needed to serve defense customers at the level they expect — not just in product quality, but in compliance, documentation, and accountability.
ITAR registration marks a new chapter for Validyne, but the foundation it’s built on is 50 years of engineering precision instrumentation for environments where failure isn’t acceptable. Defense and aerospace programs demand more than a quality product. They demand a supplier with the compliance infrastructure, documentation practices, and regulatory awareness to operate as a true program partner. That’s what this registration represents, and it’s a commitment we take seriously.
If you’re sourcing for an ITAR-controlled program or want to learn more about working with Validyne as a compliant vendor, we’d like to hear from you.
