Hellow,
I have an old cd15 with a 4 pin cannon type connector, and a DP15 sensor with 6-pin amphenol connector. Both have been checked according to validyne instructions and work properly. I have change the end cable connector to a cannon type in order to make the sensor work with the cd15: connections, as I found on this forum (http://www.validyne.com/forum/topic/how-do-i-connect-the-cd280-to-a-variable-reluctance-sensor/), are:
Amphenol—->CAnnon
A-green—–>1
B-Red——->2
C-Black—–>3
D-White—–>4
I am not quite sure if this is correct. By the way, I am finding some issues with the spam settings, sometiens reaching up to 13V instead of 10V
Thanks for any ehlp, it will be very much appreciated

Hi Javier,
The 6 pin and 4 pin should have similar connections. The pin out you have is correct.
About the span settings. Depending on the output of the DP15 you will get readings above 10V. You can adjust the span pot to dial down the output.
Hope that helps
